Jonathan

I first met Jonathan in around 1999 when he was working for JCWI and  instructed me in my first case in the Court of Appeal. He was an absolutely brilliant colleague to work with and completely sensitive to and committed to his clients. We became good friends and would meet up regularly over the years in various pubs around Chancery Lane/Fleet Street - sometimes to celebrate with clients who would not have succeeded without Jonathan's extraordinary dedication. He really made an enormous difference to so many people. Sadly, we didn't see so much of each other in recent years. Jonathan spoke fondly of life in Alberta, where he was originally from. I am sure he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. I am very sad that I won't be able to come to Upminster tomorrow morning to say goodbye. Rest in Peace, Jonathan.
